A Chemistry quiz competition held in the old hall of G.G.M. Science College today on 18th of March 2016 which was organized by the department of chemistry. Principal of the college Prof. Ajeet Angral was the Chief Guest on the occasion. In his speech he highlighted the importance of these competitions as well as the importance of chemistry in daily life. Principal of the College appreciated the efforts of the faculty led by HOD providing platform to the students to show their talent. Earlier Dr. Ashok Bhagat , Head of Chemistry Department delivered the welcome address and stressed upon the students to participate in such events. Proceedings of the quiz were conducted by Dr. Jagjeet Singh.

A total of six teams, each team having three participants participated in the event. Team “A” consisting of Pankaj Tripathi , Shivam Sharma and Divanshu Gupta was declared first,whereas Team “D” consisting of Kirtimaan Sharma, Pankaj Sharma and Nitish Rattan was declared second and Team “C” consisting of Mr. Zahid Arshad Mir, Mukul Adotra and Shubham Singh was declared third. The programme was anchored by Mehul Rajput and the vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Rajinder Singh. All the staff members of Chemistry Department were present on the occasion.
