In continuation to ongoing innovative series of steps being taken by Dr. Asgar Hassan Samoon , IAS worthy Commissioner/Secretray to Govt. Higher Education Department a one day workshop on e-Granthalaya an automated Web Based Library Management Software was organized at GGM Science College, Jammu on 30th Jan 2017 in collaboration with National Informatics Centre Jammu (NIC) for providing the best library automation solutions.The workshop was conducted by a team comprising NIC officials including Sh. Ram Kumar Matoria (Technical Director, NIC HQ New Delhi ) and Sh. Saleem Khan, Additional SIO, NIC Jammu Centre.
The Nodal Principal Dr. Ajeet Angral formally welcomed the team and emphasized the significance of Library Automation System in Govt. Colleges of Jammu Division, J&K.
Prof. Vinus Sharma, HoD Department of Computer Science of G.G.M. Science College, Jammu gave the brief note about the workshop. Formal vote of thanks was presented by Prof. Rahul Sharma
