Department Profile
Electronics department is one of the most vibrant teaching section, establised in 1992, of GGM Science College with faculty having teaching and research experience at National/International level. We educate B.Sc. students with fundamentals of Electronics, Machine Languages, Microprocessor/Microcontroller Architecture and Programming, Basic and Advanced Communication Systems, Power Electronics, Instrumentation, etc. to build a strong subject knowledge base for Non-medical students with Electronics as subject combination. Department organises regular meetings and interactions of students/faculty with experts from academia and industry not only for exploring the job market through their technical skills in the subject but also to find opportunities for interdisciplinary Reseach career. The departmental faculty members (Regular and Academic Arrangement) are highly committed to provide the students with the best fundamental subject understanding and continuously inspires them whilst self-education and upgradation through various faculty development programs and trainings. The Research Center for computers, IT and Electronics within department of Computer Science and Electronics is adding to the teaching-learning experiences for both students and staff of the department. The committed non-teaching staff plays an important role in the seamless working of Electronics labs, which is very critical for the overall performance of the department. Students at the department are highly motivated and inspired to gain excellence in subject and perform at curriculum/co-curriculum platforms.
